AIR passengers have been warned of possible delays at Stansted Airport tomorrow (Wednesday) as thousands of public sector workers join a strike over pensions.
Immigration staff could join hospital, police, school and health workers in the industrial action.
A spokesman for the airport said: “Stansted Airport will be open with flights operating as scheduled but, due to public sector strikes affecting immigration staff working for UKBA, passengers arriving into the UK may experience delays at passport control.
“We are working with UKBA and our airlines to ensure any disruption is kept to a minimum.”
