FIREFIGHTERS had to cut the roof off a car to free a woman trapped following a collision near Stansted Airport on New Year’s Eve.
FIREFIGHTERS had to cut the roof off a car to free a woman trapped following a collision near Stansted Airport on New Year’s Eve.
Crews from Saffron Walden, Newport and Stansted were called to Stansted Airport junction of the A120 around 1.15pm. The woman was cut free from the wreckage and left in the care of the Ambulance Service by 1.49pm.
Earlier the same day crews from Dunmow and Thaxted freed a woman from a car crash near Dunmow. Firefighters received the call around 10am and were dispatched to a collision outside Barnards Farm in Duton Hill. The victim was cut free from her vehicle and left in the care of the ambulance servicer around 10.45am.
