POLICE are appealing for information to find a driver who failed to stop at a road crash in which a pedal cyclist was injured.
The collision happened at 11.25am on Sunday January 15, 2011, at Church Road junction with Walson Way, Stansted Mountfitchet, near the roundabout. The collision involved a black Audi TT Convertible and a man on a pedal cycle. The driver of the Audi failed to stop.
The 50-year-old pedal cyclist was taken to Broomfield Hospital where he was treated for a fractured pelvis.
Investigating officer Pc Nigel Taplin said: “We believe the Audi TT was the new shape and we want to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the car drive off.”
