PEOPLE were out in their droves enjoying the snow over the weekend... here are some pictures sent in by readers.
Saffron Walden Common was full of people sledding and having snowball fights, while children in the some of the surrounding villages ventured into fields to enjoy the snow.
Sledging was also on the cards at Stansted Mountfitchet after four inches of snow fell.
At Linton Zoo, keepers soldiered on to provide extra food and water in the big freeze.
