FIREFIGHTERS are tackling a barn fire involving 700 bales of straw.
Six crews, including those from Stansted and Dunmow, were called to the blaze in Woodside Green, Great Hallingbury, at about 2.14pm today (Friday).
The incident commander has reported that one of the two barns on fire is completely alight and the other 30 per cent alight.
Crews are using three hose reel jets and one main jet to tackle the blaze.
