BISHOP’S STORTFORD

Where: Bishop’s Stortford RFC

When: Saturday, November 9

Time: Gates will open at 5pm and the display will start at 7.15pm

Entry: Adult or unaccompanied child £5 in advance, £8 on the night, accompanied child £3 in advance, £5 on the night, family ticket £12 in advance or £15 on the night

There will be a fairground along with a barbecue, bar, soft drink and a sweet stall. There is no on-site parking available.

CAMBRIDGE

Where: Midsummer Common

When: Tuesday, November 5

Time: Gates open at 6pm and the first rocket will be launched at 7.30pm

Entry: Donations of at least £1 per person is encouraged

Cambridge will be living up to its reputation for stunning firework displays with this year’s event.

DUNMOW

Where: Dunmow Recreation Ground

When: Saturday, November 2

Time: Gates open at 6.15pm, the bonfire will be lit at 6.45pm and the fireworks will start at 7.15pm.

Entry: Adults £3, children £2, family of two adults and three children £10

This year’s display is promising to be bigger and better than ever, with a traditional bonfire, a barbecue, hot drinks and entertainment for all the family.

Round Table chairman Daniel Albon said: “It’s a great family event with thousands of people coming every year and it shouldn’t be missed.”

There will also be a Guy Fawkes competition, which will be judged at 7pm.

All of the proceeds will go back to local charities and good causes.

DUXFORD

Where: Hinxton Road, Duxford.

When: Saturday, November 9.

Time: Gates open and food served from 5pm, bonfire lit at 5.30pm and fireworks start at 6.30pm.

Entry: Adults £3.50, children £3, family £10 all in advance. On the gate £4, £3.50 and £12.

LINTON

Where: Linton Infants School

When: Saturday, November 9

Time: Gates open at 6pm, bonfire lit at 6.30pm and fireworks start at 7pm

Entry: Advance tickets £4 per person or £10 for a family ticket. On the night they be £5 and £12.

As well as the spectacular display, enjoy the huge bonfire, guy competition, barbecues and drink stalls. All profits made will be going towards schools in the area.

NEWPORT

Where: Newport Recreation Ground

When: Tuesday November 5

Time: 6.30pm

Entry: Advance tickets, adults £4, under 14s £3 and they will be on sale at the Saffron Walden Tourist Information Centre and from shops in Newport. On the gate it will be £5 for adults and £4 for under 14s.

SAFFRON WALDEN

Where: The Common

When: Saturday, November 2

Time: From 6pm

Entry: Free

Buckets will be going round to collect money for charity. There will also be food stalls and a funfair. Scott Weeks, who is organising the event for the Saffron Walden Round Table, said: “We hope the town comes out to support us. This is our biggest event of the year and all the money we raise will be going back into the community. We just want to put on a great display for the town.”

SAFFRON WALDEN

Where: Friends’ School, Mount Pleasant Road

When: Friday November 8

Time: Gates open at 6pm, bonfire 6.30pm and fireworks 7pm

Entry Advance ticket prices, adult £3, child £2, family tickets £8. Tickets are available from Tourist Information, The Blueberry Store and on the gate.

There will be plenty of treats to keep peoples hunger at bay including a hog roast, Wok ‘n’ Roll Noodles, Planet of the Crepes, jacket potatoes and candy floss.

SAWSTON

Where: Huckeridge Hill, Cambridge Road

When: Saturday, November 2

Time: Gates open at 6pm

Entry: Free to Sawston residents

There will be rides for children.

STANSTED

Where: Elms Farm, Church Road

When: Saturday, November 2

Time: Gates open at 6.30pm, bonfire is lit at 7pm and fireworks start at 7.30pm

Entry: Adults £4, children £2 and a family of four is £10

Refreshments will be available.
