Proposals have been put forward for the expansion of St Mary’s Primary School in Stansted.
Essex County Council is planning to add an extra classroom which will accommodate an additional 30 pupils.
The additional building will be located at the rear of the existing building. The external works will involve replacement of the existing playing area with an artificial grass surfacing to allow use by the school all year round.
An exhibition will be held at the school on Wednesday (December 18) from 3-7pm where interested parties will have an opportunity to review the proposals and ask questions.
Following consultation at the exhibition, all relevant comments and feedback will be reviewed before the planning application is submitted in January.
