A man from London has been charged with drug driving offences following a four-car crash that closed one lane of the M11 in March.
Mohammad Khan, 36, of Hanbury Street, Whitechapel, was arrested after the collision, which took place on the London bound carriageway at junction 8 near Stansted Airport on Wednesday, March 9.
He has been charged with driving while unfit through drugs, possession of cocaine, and two counts of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit.
Mr Khan has been released on police bail to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on June 2.
