Firefighters have extinguished a fire at a waste and recycling site in Great Dunmow this morning (September 5).
Firefighters were called to the fire at the site on Chelmsford Road this morning and crews managed to extinguish the fire by 10.15am.
When fire crews arrived they reported that they could see lots of smoke coming from the large warehouse on-site (which measured approximately 50m x 30m).
Firefighters ensured the electricity supply to the warehosue was shut off and then began to tackle the fire, Essex County Fire & Rescue Service says.
Essex Fire & Rescue Service have said the incident is on-going and more details will follow.
