School children in the Dunmow Broadcast area could win £1000 worth of books and an iPod Nano in a competition to find the country's favourite reading book. The competition is being launched by Collins Education and is open to all children between five and 11 years of age throughout the UK. Two winners will win £1000 of Collins Big Cat books for their school, a visit to their school by a famous author, and an iPod Nano for themselves.
Ten runners up will also receive £200 of books for their school and their own iPod Shuffle.
To enter, children aged five to seven should write a maximum of 100 words and children aged seven to 11 a maximum of 300 words about their favourite book and send it to Annette Matthew, Collins Big Cat Team, Collins Education, HarperCollins Publishers, 77-85 Fulham Palace Road, London W6 8JB or e-mail annette.matthew@
