A DUNMOW man was cleared of 33 charges of theft at Chelmsford Crown court on Thursday.
Simon Hepper, 50, from Riverside was accused of stealing items from lost property company, Heppair Services, which he ran, based at Stansted Airport.
It was claimed that Mr Hepper stole 14 wallets, 11 mobile phones, two iPods, a BlackBerry, a camera, a purse and a business card holder.
He was acquitted of all charges after denying the offences.
On Friday a spokesman from Essex police said: "The case was fully investigated and all the evidence was put before the court. However, the jury reached a decision that he was not guilty of these offences."
