A typewriter artist who has been inspired by Essex landmarks and architecture will have his work on display at Finchingfield's Wonky Wheel Gallery from July 2 until July 31.
James Cook from Braintree has nearly 30 typewriters dating from the early 1930’s to the late 1990’s.
He has produced more than 100 typewritten drawings in the past seven years, and celebrities, television presenters and musicians have acquired some of his pieces.
Gallery owner Mary Turley said: "It was an honour to go out on location with James to get an insight into how he prepares for his drawings."
The display includes drawings of Thaxted's Horham Hall and Finchingfield Green.
James will be in the gallery on the opening weekend and his vintage typewriters will be on display throughout. All work will be available to purchase from the gallery along with a selection of prints.
The gallery is open Wednesday to Saturday, 10am to 3pm and Sunday 11am to 3pm. Or view online at www.wonky-wheel.co.uk
