At the time of writing, we keep getting offers by contractors to wash and sterilise these monstrosities at our own expense.
Surely the bins are council property and it should be up to them to keep them clean, but so far they have not said anything about a cleaning facility.
Many people who had plastic dustbins used to wash them out each week, but they were our own property.
