ON BEHALF of Dunmow Carnival Committee, I would like to say a big thank you to all the young ladies who attended the carnival court Selection evening last Friday.
Choosing this year's carnival queen and princesses was a very difficult decision for our judges to make.
We would like to congratulate Abigail Tyrell who has been chosen as our queen and Kirsty Ayre and Phillipa Clapperton who are our princesses.
We would also like to thank Steve Golding for his excellent job of compere for the evening.
The carnival court will be attending local events throughout the year and of course our own Carnival Day, which is Saturday September 15.
Application forms for this years parade will shortly be sent out to previous entrants, but if you would like to take part in this years event, please email us at dunmowcarnival@hotmail.com or check local press for further details.
