UTTLESFORD Community Travel wishes to thank all those who took part in the "Guess the number of passengers carried by us in a year" competition at the Dunmow Carnival.

The winner was Mrs. J Watson of Emblems, Dunmow, whose guess of 21,000 was closest to the exact figure of 21,630 passengers carried last year.

Mrs Watson was presented with two bottles of Champagne.
