I READ your article on the mini-moto problem, last week and being a pit bike rider (like mini-motos but slightly bigger) I have seen the misuse of these machines and others alike.

But people who are not riders of these obviously have a different point of view.

From the owners of the mini-motos point of view, there are not the facilities or sites available to ride these in the area.

With the £200,000 that the government has supplied to 'enforce' the current regulations, it could be put towards better use - for sites and land where these motorbikes can be ridden legally.

This would encourage people to ride them legally off the streets, parks and public areas for a small fee to keep the sites in good and safe condition.

I just thought I get the other point of view across to readers.
