CAN anything be done about the awful state of a house alongside the Chequers pub. Does it belong to the pub?
Or indeed whoever owns it I feel should be approached and told that it is not very nice to walk past and see it so neglected, with masonry all over the pavement.
I have owned properties in the past, but would never dream of leaving them in such a disgraceful state, to say nothing of what it looks like when visitors come to our otherwise lovely town.
