I, and I am sure many others fumble around at 3am to locate their car to go to work in the dark, driving past the new police station lit up like Blackpool Illuminations, and it is not even occupied. Why?
Seems a bit ridiculous, if, as the council tells us there has been no increase in crime since the lights were switched off - has anyone ever stolen a police station???
What are we going to do with the money saved? Certainly not reduce the council tax. Save carbon emissions? Not in my area as people are putting up their own security lights!!!!
