ON TUESDAY evening, October 28, I was involved in a car accident, just outside High Roding and I would like to thank all those people who stopped to help me, in particular the guy who phoned for the emergency services.
In atrocious weather conditions, he stood by the car in the pouring rain and sleet - thank you.
Also to the guy who wrenched the door and came into the car to talk to me until the police and fire brigade arrived, and let me use his phone to ring my husband - thank you it was so kind of you.
The Fire Service from Dunmow were wonderful, calm and reassuring - thank you so much. The ambulance team and of course the police - thank you.
I am so grateful that no one else was involved and that my injuries were not serious.
Finally apologies to all those who were delayed by the road closure.
