IN RESPONSE to the letter last week 'Park Respect' I was quite surprised to read this letter from this concerned resident of Baynard Avenue.
There are a number of issues with the new play area on Baynard Avenue however there is currently a lot of work going into resolving them.
I am discussing the issues with Enodis and the community support police officer, Sally Wardle. A number of residents near the play area, including myself and residents further away have spoken to the problem teenagers and many of the committee members of the Residents Association have driven up on selected nights and dealt with the issues.
I would urge this person to come forward to understand what is being done to solve these problems. Maybe they would like to attend the Residents Association meeting at 7.30pm on May 23. We look forward to meeting you.
