IN YOUR August 3 report about the misleading information in BAA's latest Property Pack, I was interested to see that Mark Pendlington claims that when BAA makes a mistake, they correct it.
I therefore look forward to Mr Pendlington's confirmation that he has written to Uttlesford
District Council to correct the very same erroneous claim i.e. that the noise effects of a doubling of aircraft movements would be "insignificant."
This misleading information is repeated in various places in the environmental statement that accompanies BAA's latest planning application.
It would be quite wrong to leave this elementary error officially uncorrected, as this would risk BAA's application to greatly increase the use of the existing runway being considered on the basis of incorrect information.
