LAST week in the Broadcast, Thursday August 2, you asked for views on Stansted Airport and how green it is.

What do I think? I think that you have reproduced a BAA press release word for word and tacked a little introduction onto it.

On this, of all issues, it is quite irresponsible of you to serve up airport generated publicity as an impartial news story based on the research and independent opinions of your reporter.

Editor's note: The article How Green is Stansted Airport? did not come from a press release. We just wanted to find out what the airport is doing to reduce its impact on the environment. As a newspaper our reporters are impartial and cover all stories on the airport whether they are positive or negative.
