IN RESPONSE to David Browns letter 'Where is High Roding?' (Postbag July 6)- I couldn't agree more. The council does seem to have forgotten about High Roding.
A lot of the footpaths around High Roding are overgrown, but the path at the side of the road, leading out of the village to the High Trees farm turning, is dangerous.
The grasses and bushes are so overgrown they often hit my toddler in the face in the pushchair, so I am forced to go nearer and nearer to the road, which sees some very fast, heavy traffic and silly overtaking manoeuvres.
It seems ironic having watched the council spend hundreds of thousands of pounds laying new paths from Great Dunmow to Little Dunmow.
I just hope in years to come their paths are still accessible, and not forgotten and unusable like ours in High Roding.
