MAY I ask your readers for their help in tracing my family history.
My birth name was Sooley although at least two generations ago this would have been Morton Sooley.
My ancestors were born in and around Elm.My father is Terrence Sooley, my grandfather was George William Sooley, my great grandfather was George Morton Sooley and my great great grandfather was possibly named John
Morton Sooley.
Unfortunately we are now stuck!I would be grateful for any information that anyone could give me.
My father has been researching this now for years and I now have caught the bug! My father was an only child and I would love to be able to help him trace some of his family it is very important to him.
