MAY I commend Steven Deller for standing up and speaking out for Great Dunmow.
We have far too many homes already and any more will cause much unneeded stress on our already pressed infrastructure.
I am also very disappointed that so far none of our Dunmow Councillors have stood up against the proposed options one and two, which would see many more houses in Great Dunmow.
I have a great deal of sympathy for the residents of Elsenham and Henham however these houses have to be built by Uttlesford to comply with the Governments housing plans.
If they do not, I understand that Uttlesford District Council will face a financial penalty so it would be a great burden on the taxpayer if a plan was not developed (which is what Cllr Morson was suggesting).
