DGM of the Rodings claims that Uttlesford District Council's Recycling News was not printed on recycled paper. I am happy to inform residents that this is not the case, and that this - and our other recycling publications - will continue to be printed on recycled paper.
DGM also raised the issue of polythene-bag wrapping. The previous edition of Recycling News was delivered in a brown, recycled-paper envelope, but we received reports that residents were simply counting it as junk mail and recycling it straight away. The clear wrapping makes it much easier for people to recognise what is inside. However, for future editions we will try and source a sustainable wrapping.
