THE police helicopter is a very expensive piece of equipment to buy and then run and it does a very good job of catching real criminals.
But catching a joy rider does not produce an income stream to offset the helicopters cost. So, what to do? Someone has come up with a good wheeze.
Why not hammer the motorist as they are generally law abiding and do not run away or put up a fight when 'collared' for some minor offence.
This will produce a handsome income stream with no danger of any hassle when the helicopter crew are on their way back for tea.
After all the Government, local authorities, private parking companies and many other busy bodies spawned under the present Government already hammer the motorist at every opportunity such that it is only marginally legal to drive a car nowadays.
The helicopter MUST only be used to catch criminals otherwise scrap it!
