MACMILLAN Cancer Support want to hear from cancer patients in Essex who have been struggling with mortgage payments or rent.
We know what a huge impact the additional costs of cancer has on patients and their families at a time when their income may have fallen dramatically because they are too ill to work.
Over the last couple of years we have been highlighting the need for cancer patients to get the welfare benefits they are entitled to.
But now we are looking at problems people sometimes have in terms of keeping up with mortgage payments or rent as a result of cancer.
That's why we are asking anyone here in this area who has had housing problems following a cancer diagnosis to get in touch.
