AS WE have elections this week, I felt the need to point something out.

Now like everyone else in the area I have read the leaflets from the various political parties. One of the main subjects of these leaflets is the fact the some of the street lights are going off at night.

I just thought I would mention that whoever is in control of the council come May 4 will have no power whatsoever to switch the lights back on.
