There was no respect for mourners, with some of the media thrusting cameras into faces to get close-ups and pushing between mourners who were trying to keep together for support.

Editor's note: Although it was felt we should cover the funeral of Mike Reid because of his celebrity status following his most recent appearances in EastEnders, Casino Royale and The Dirty Dozen our photographer was not obtrusive in any way. She used a long lens and our reporter respected the family's wishes by remaining outside the church during the funeral service.
