WE WOULD like to take this opportunity to thank all the Felsted residents who have supported our campaign to oppose the Enodis proposals to develop a greenfield site in our village.

Our thanks extend not only to those who so willingly gave up their time to attend the inquiry last week, but also to everyone who took the time to lodge written objections to the proposals, and to those who came to our meeting in the village on November 9.

The inquiry had to be adjourned at the end of last week and will reconvene on January 23 at 10am. It is scheduled to last for a further two days.

We look forward to seeing many of you there again.

Nicola Douglas, Chris Collins and Judy Mackay
