A Dunmow home staging company has won a national award for renovating and staging a property for sale.
Start-up company Fluid View won 'best renovation and staging project' at the House Wow Services Awards 2023.
The House Wow Services Awards are a national awards programme that recognises and celebrates outstanding contributions of small and medium-sized businesses to the property service sector - including home stagers, interior designers, property stylists, property photographers and estate agents.
Fluid View's winning project involved the renovation and staging of a two-bedroom flat in Ipswich, which was praised for 'exemplifying the company's ability to find creative solutions that will attract buyers', while addressing challenges such as a limited budget.
Sandra Zueco, Fluid View home staging director, said: "We are truly honoured to receive the
House Wow Services Award for best renovation and staging project in 2023.
"This recognition reflects our passion for helping property investors and homeowners to sell their properties to achieve the best returns.
"We do this by professionally staging properties to appeal to buyers."
The final project, judged by a panel of experts, showed the transformation of a tired ex-rental property into a modern, aesthetically pleasing flat with minimal renovation and strategic staging.
Following the work, the property gained a valuation of £20,000 higher than similar flats in the same building, and also sold for £2,000 over the asking price.
Sandra added: "Home staging, widely embraced as a marketing tool in the USA, is gaining traction in the UK.

"The emphasis on presenting a property to create a compelling first impression and attract potential buyers is paramount in today's online-driven real estate landscape."
Fluid View offers a wide range of services from home staging consultations for homeowners wishing to prepare their homes for sale, to show homes for developers that need a staging service.
A spokesperson for the company said: "Fluid View takes pride in offering staging services to suit everyone with a no-frills approach."
Home View's founder Sandra, who is originally from Spain, moved to England more than 20 years ago, and is a qualified interior designer with the National Design Academy.
