Businesses in Uttlesford are invited to apply for a grant to help them develop and improve their digital assets.

The Digital Boost Grant, offered by Uttlesford District Council, offers funding from £250 up to a maximum of £2,500 (match funded).

Businesses can apply for a grant to fund a new business website or an upgrade to an existing website, an online booking system, an e-commerce platform, the creation of a mobile app, digital skills training courses or cyber security training.

The grant has been launched during Digital Boost for Business Week, which runs from Monday, November 6 to Wednesday, November 15 and is an initiative to support Uttlesford's businesses to increase their digital presence.

The grants are open to small or medium sized enterprises located in the Uttlesford district.

Specific criteria for applications are available on the council's website, including the information you will be asked for and how to find out if your business is eligible.

Alongside the grant, the council is facilitating a series of free webinars for business owners, on topics ranging from how to maximise results using search engine optimisation and video content, to protecting your business against cybercrime.
