What’s on: ‘Game Day’ at Audley End House

PLUCKING, prestige and pie! Victorian food was all about showing off your wealth, and what better way to do this than to display the produce of your estate on your table?

A three-hour, hands-on cookery masterclass is taking place at Audley End House & Gardens on Thursday February 7, from 10am-1pm. ‘Game Day’ will teach participants all about game in the Victorian period, how to prepare your game for cooking. At the end of all your hard work you’ll go home with your very own raised pie to cook at your leisure.
