Icarus Theatre Collective presents their sexy, bloody and fast-paced tour of Hamlet at The Mumford Theatre, Cambridge on February 27 and 28. This production, described as Shakespeare for the Game of Thrones generation, embraces the play’s brutality and amplifies the violence of the story.

The King of Denmark is dead. Consumed with grief, his son, Prince Hamlet wants to avenge his father’s death. But will he? That is the question.

Using Shakespeare’s lines, Icarus invites us to encounter the text in a new way, blending traditional and physical theatre with an original musical score. 7.30pm. Tickets, £12, £10 concessions, £8.50 children and students from www.anglia.ac.uk/mumfordtheatre or 01223 352932.
