Singer-songwriter Nik Kershaw will perform an acoustic concert at Felsted School as part of the school’s 450th year celebrations.

Locally-based Kershaw will round off the Felsted Family Day on May 24, at 8pm.

The event, which will be open to all, will take the form of a solo acoustic concert, following on from his recent albums No Frills and EI8HT.

Kershaw released his debut album Human Racing in 1984, achieving multi-platinum sales and launching his career worldwide.

In 1990, after four MCA albums and sales of over eight million, he left the spotlight to concentrate on song writing and producing, working with Elton John, Chesney Hawkes, Cliff Richard, Bonnie Tyler, Lulu, Ronan Keating and Gary Barlow, amongst others.

Supported by media partner Essex Life, tickets are selling fast, so book early. The tickets are priced at £20, and can be booked online by visiting felsted.org/NikKershaw, or by calling Erika Taunton on 01371 822613.
