SAFFRON Walden Museum has conjured up an enchanting way to entertain children during the half-term holiday – a mystical ‘Spell Quest’!

On Wednesday and Thursday, February 20 and 21, youngsters are invited to scour the museum looking for a host of hidden clues and items. Once they have found them they will be able to make their own magic ‘spell scroll’ which they can take home to show other budding witches and wizards.

The ‘Spell Quest’ event has been organised to coincide with the East Anglian Witch Hunt exhibition which is currently on display at the museum and runs until Sunday May 12.

Both days are drop-in sessions and no booking is necessary. However, children must be accompanied by an adult. The sessions are suitable for families with children of all ages.

Each session will run from 11am- pm and again from 2-4pm. Admission will be £1.50 for adults and 75p for concessions. Children go free.

Remember, to keep up with all the goings on at Saffron Walden Museum you can follow them on Twitter @SW_Museum and ‘Like’ them on Facebook.
