There will be two scatch and sniff versions of Nick Park’s celebration animation, where the audience are given cards to scratch to give off the smells that go with the film, at Saffron Screen on Friday, August 24 and Sunday August 26.

With the voices of Peter Sallis, Helena Bonham Carter, Ralph Fiennes and Peter Kay, this is Wallace and Gromit’s glorious adventure about a plague threatening a village vegetable contest.

Wallace and his loyal dog, Gromit, set out to discover the mystery behind the garden sabotage. Audiences will be given a special scratch card containing 10 weird and wonderful odours that link to key scenes within the film. When prompted, viewers are invited to scratch and sniff.

Both screenings are at 3pm. Tickets, Saffronscreen.com or Tourist Information in the Market Square, 01799 524002.
