ON the back of the brilliant summer of Olympic and Paralympic sport, Saffron Screen is delighted to be welcoming Chloe Rogers to their upcoming screening of Chariots of Fire (PG).

The film will be shown at Saffron Screen at 8pm on Sunday (September 16) and tickets are available from the cinema box office, the Tourist Information Centre, or online at saffronscreen.com.

Chloe won an Olympic bronze medal as part of the Team GB women’s hockey team last month. The former Helena Romanes School student first started playing hockey in 1994 at Dunmow Hockey Club before moving onto other prestigious clubs.

She is one of the leading indoor hockey players in the UK and whilst playing for Chelmsford HC, Chloe was given the nickname of ‘Ginger’, after the dancer Ginger Rogers.

Chloe is a part of Team Essex, run by Essex County Council, where she helps to promote sport and well being in Essex through coaching sessions at local schools and by talking about her sport.

She has kindly agreed to bring her bronze medal to Saffron Screen to share her success with the audience.
