RICHARD Digance recently enjoyed his 40th year of touring and he continues to maintain his unique position in entertainment as a top singer, comedian and poet.

His new one-man show will be at Chelmsford’s Civic Theatre on Saturday November 10 and features new songs from his latest album Old School Photograph and poems from his new book, My Words.

Many people sing, play guitar and tell stories but not many have supported Steve Martin, Robin Williams or played a guitar duet with Brian May of Queen, but Digance has.

He is both an accomplished musician, rated by many as one of Britain’s greatest acoustic guitarists, inspired by his good friend Ralph McTell, and an entertainer who many younger comedians claim as one of their major influences.
