HALLOWEEN promises tricks and treats for the whole family at Saffron Screen on October 31.
Get dressed up and join the cinema at 3pm for The Witches (PG), a thrilling adaptation of Roald Dahl’s story starring Anjelica Huston as the Grand High Witch. A boy stumbles on a convention of witches as they plan to turn all children in England into mice; when he is changed to a mouse himself, how can he save the day?
Dress to frighten, as a prize will be awarded for the best costume.
Saffron Screen will also be showing Paranorman (PG) on Saturday and Sunday, october 27 & 28 at 3pm – a stop-motion animation about a strange boy who finds his ability to talk to the dead helps him save his town from zombies.
With Frankenweenie (PG) and Hotel Transylvania (U) coming in the November/December programme, there is plenty of Halloween fun for the family.
