MIXED media artist Keith Bird will be exhibiting his work at the Dunmow Art Gallery’s next exhibition.

Essex born Mr Bird is a relative newcomer to the gallery scene despite featuring in a growing number of exhibitions and having been accepted at the prestigious Essex Open Summer Exhibition for the last three years.

This will be the first time he has displayed his work in the High Street gallery.

“Although I have my own, natural self taught style and formula I feel I am still evolving as an artist having experimental phases which lead to abstract ideas.

“To date my work has been in acrylic, gouache, and watercolour but predominantly in oil. Subject matter can also vary but landscapes and seascapes make up the majority of my work. I have painted all over the country including a number of commissions, but more recently I have focused on the Essex landscapes closer to home.”

The exhibition runs from October 29 to November 16. For more information, visit dunmowartgallery.co.uk or call 01371 856682.
