Netball: A frustrating start to the New Year for the Dunmow Crests

PUBLISHED: 08:49 15 January 2014

It was a frustrating start to the new year for Dunmow Crests B team.

Despite some excellent defence work by Jenny Wolff, which earned her player of the match, the Crests couldn’t hold off the Alderton Lions losing 28-16, in a fast moving game. There were fantastic displays of shooting from both teams, with Crests Becky Cook and Debbie Webb playing some excellent shots in the last quarter to help the Crests pull back the goal difference. Elsewhere, the A and C teams also suffered defeats.

Anyone interested in joining the club should contact enquiries@dunmowcrests.co.uk. Training is weekly from 7.30-8.30pm at Dunmow Leisure Centre. All levels are welcome.
