A depleted Saffron Crocus Reserves crashed to a defeat for the second consecutive week at Saffron Rangers in the BIS County League Division 4A.

Crocus contained the home side for 29 minutes, but it all fell to pieces as they shipped three goals just before half-time.

To their credit they battled back with two good finishes from Daniel Rouse and Andy Eldred to make it 4-2, but unfortunately another one was conceded near the end of the game, to compound another bad day for Crocus.

Crocus host Steeple Bumpstead on Saturday, 3pm kick-off.
