The competitors with Phil Warner of H Peasgood & Son

RADWINTER were the winners of the Golden Charter Inter Village Bowls Competition for the second year in succession.

They beat Dunmow in the final, with Clavering winning a close play off against Thaxted for third place. The competition took place at Radwinter, with teams from Duxford, Elsenham, Quendon and Stansted also taking part in a competitive but enjoyable event.

Team and individual prizes were awarded by Phil Warner on behalf of the sponsors, H Peasgood & Son and Daniel Robinson & Sons.
