Working layouts and trade stands on offer at Saffron Walden Model Railway Club’s annual exhibition

Saffron Walden Model Railway Club will be holding its annual exhibition at the United Reformed Church in Abbey Lane later this month.

The exhibition will feature up to 10 working layouts, trade stands, second hand sales and refreshments.

It is beingheld on Saturday, February 22, from 10am to 4.30pm.

Entry costs are £3 for adults, £2.50 concessions, and £1 for children.

Despite Uttlesford’s Local Plan being in tatters – Great Dunmow Town Council is still pushing forward with its Neighbourhood Plan to ensure it still has some control over future developments.

UDC deputy leader, Cllr Susan Barker, said the council is not proposing any sites at this moment in time.

Uttlesford District Council has been accused by residents living near a proposed gypsy and traveller site of “trying to fit a square peg in a round hole”.
