The winners of the inaugural Uttlesford Business Awards were revealed at a glitzy ceremony held on Friday (June 30) night.

Electromagnetic Testing Services, based in Great Dunmow, walked away with the coveted Business of the Year award 2017 having won the Small Business of the Year category.

The awards run by Archant, publishers of the Saffron Walden Reporter and Dunmow Broadcast, were presented by veteran radio broadcaster Steve Scruton at the event held at Parklands, Quendon Hall.

Holisticare, based in Hatfield Broad Oak, won the prestigious Judges’ Award, having been deemed as a worthy entry while not winning a category by the panel of judges, drawn from the sponsors.

Lead sponsors of the event were Stansted Airport and Uttlesford District Council, while Watson Legal, Harlow College and the Harlow and District and Stansted Airport Chambers of Commerce also sponsored the event.
