Tonight (Friday, June 30) the winners of the inaugural Uttlesford Business Awards will be announced.

Run by Archant, publishers of the Saffron Walden Reporter and Dunmow Broadcast, the awards celebrate the best of the business community in our district.

There are nine different categories, plus the Judges’ Award and the overall winner.

Lead sponsors of the awards are Stansted Airport and Uttlesford District Council.

Winners will be announced at the gala ceremony taking place from 6.30pm at Quendon Hall. The first winners are due to be announced from 9pm.

Will Lodge, editor of the Reporter and Broadcast, said: “Having been involved in the awards since nominations opened, right through to the judging, I am very excited that we will soon be announcing the winners.

“Whether your business, or a company you know and support, wins or not tonight, the best thing about the awards is that it has highlighted what a brilliant business community we have in our district. Tonight is about celebrating that.”
