Children in Need takes place on Friday, November 17, and we know lots of you are planning to join in the fun.

The Saffron Walden Reporter and Dunmow Broadcast will be out and about capturing pictures of the frivolity, all carried out in the name of charity, but we cannot be everywhere.

So if your school, community group, business or other organisation is holding an event for Children in Need, please share your story with us.

You can send in pictures, and a brief write-up, to editor@saffronwalden-reporter.co.uk or editor@dunmow-broadcast.co.uk and we will try to use as many as we can in next week’s editions of the papers.

This year’s theme is The Big Spotacular!

Last year’s Children in Need raised more than £46million to help disadvantaged children, and once again Pudsey Bear will be fronting the campaign urging people to dig deep.

The television show begins at 7.30pm on BBC1.
