Developers for two schemes – a 600-700 home development in Little Easton, near Dunmow, and 800 home proposal in Elsenham – have appealed separate decisions by Uttlesford’s planning committee to reject the applications.

Both appeals will be heard on September 23. The Planning Inspectorate arranged to hold the pre-inquiry meeting this morning.
